Position: Financial Planning Analyst Full

WRI Brazil is looking for a professional to work as a Financial Planning Analyst who will support the area's activities and relationships with other internal areas and teams.
Main activities and/or responsibilities
- Project Financial Management: Monitor cash flow and validate financial reports, ensuring compliance with donor and organizational guidelines.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed analysis of budgetary performance, identifying deviations between planned and actual, as well as trends and improvement opportunities.
- Expense Control: Monitor organizational expenses, ensuring correct accounting classification and contributing to the consolidation and presentation of results in the monthly financial closing.
- Data Update: Keep financial information updated in the organization's internal systems.
- Forecasts and Projections: Contribute to the preparation of short and long-term financial projections, aligned with the organization's strategic objectives and historical performance.
- Project Audit: Prepare financial reports and supporting documents for project audits, according to established requirements.
- Partner Relationship: Act as a focal point for financial clarifications with internal partners.
- Process Improvement: Identify and propose improvements in financial planning processes, tools, and practices, focusing on efficiency, control, and information quality.
Required qualifications
- Graduation in Administration, Accounting Sciences, Economics, or related areas;
- Experience in financial analysis, budget preparation, risk assessment, and financial data interpretation;
- Technical knowledge in Financial Planning and Control; Project management and understanding of accounting concepts; Budgeting processes and performance analysis;
- Advanced Excel (including formulas, charts, dashboards, and pivot tables);
- Desirable: knowledge of Power BI and ERP systems (such as SAP, Workday, Oracle or similar).
- Behavioral Competencies: Analytical profile, attention to detail, critical and questioning sense. Proactivity, good communication, dynamism, hands-on attitude, resilience, focus on problem-solving, and ability to manage deadlines and priorities;
- Intermediate English level (document reading, basic written and verbal communication).
