Job Description

The Flow Planning Manager will work closely with Planning, Sales, Operations, and the DCs in Coventry and Rhenus to support the flow of inventory, manage the liaison between sales and DC planning teams, utilize hold orders & allocations to maximize stock flow, and suggest continual process improvements. They will also run and maintain weekly stock reports, evaluate inbounding stock, support the Pricing Administrator and Senior Sales Coordinator, develop and manage stock flow, control embargo date releases, and review the current orderbook. Additionally, the manager will provide weekly stock reports, support the Aged inventory sells off process and support the merchandise planning manager with stock requirements.

Job Details

Role Purpose
The primary purpose of this position is to work closely with Planning, Sales, Operations, and the DC’s in Coventry and Rhenus in order to:
  • Supporting the flow of inventory, from inbound to OTIF for our EMEA customer base and to support in reducing our aged inventory position.
  • Be responsible for liaison between the sales and DC planning teams.
  • Utilise hold orders & allocations to maximise the flow of stock into the DC and to suggest continual process improvements. 
  • Run and maintain weekly stock reports for sales and SMT.
  • Evaluate inbounding stock and provide consumption percentage of each container.
  • Support the Pricing Administrator and Senior Sales Coordinator, Distributors. 
 
What You’ll Do:
  • Develop & manage the flow of stock, through hold orders and any allocations which deem appropriate.
  • Support and control embargo date releases, FTM exclusive timings and Channel/Retailer strategy flow.
  • Suggesting Stock flow to ‘fulfil and payback’ stock against future incoming containers, to maximise the flow of stock to the current orderbook.
  • Reviewing the current orderbook to identify any blockers and taking appropriate action to remove blockers.
  • Ensuring stock transferred between the warehouse attaches to the correct SOs where applicable.
  • Provide weekly stock reports containing category, product tiering, aged and sales data.
  • Review current tiering of all stock and recommend any changes for the upcoming month.
  • Support the Aged inventory sells off process by updating and monitoring weekly stock reports and ensuring system pricing application.
  • Support the merchandise planning manager with stock requirements e.g. FSDUs, Value Packs, and Bundles.
  • Regular ‘face to face’ liaison with the Senior Supply Chain Manger and Team in Coventry to understand operational requirements and challenges.
  • Carry out monthly SOXs pricing audits.
  • Ensuring the pricing within D365 is correct and any agreed changes are loaded promptly.
