The annual base salary for this position ranges from $61,700.00 in our lowest geographic market to $138,600.00 in our highest geographic market. Actual salary will vary based on a candidate's location, qualifications, skills and experience.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We're looking for a Footwear Product Testing Analyst II to join our team at Nike's Los Angeles HQ! This role ensures that Nike footwear fits and performs up to the highest standards. The candidate will need strong interpersonal skills focused on developing tester relationships. Exceptional planning skills and the ability to prioritize multiple projects are a must. They will be able to analyze data and present subjective feedback in a concise and understandable manner.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
In this role, you'll be managing all aspects of the testing process; including planning, recruiting testers, running tests, analyzing data, report writing and program management. You'll use your understanding of footwear's manufacturing processes combined with your understanding of the athlete to offer suggestions to the product team regarding material, component and construction options to meet the product's performance goals. You'll specify the performance issues that need attention prior to production.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
You'll be the testing point person for prioritized footwear projects and working with Nike's Kids Product Creation teams to test new innovative footwear. You'll also work with Athletes to gain a better understanding of their needs and to capture their feedback of the test models.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and education preferred, or minimum 2 additional years' in a related field
- 2 years' experience in a professional working environment. Experience in the footwear, product testing, development, marketing, engineering, retail, customer service industry is preferred.
- Understanding of footwear components, materials, and inline productions processes is a definite plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience working with athletes, coaches, and equipment managers.
- Experience with Microsoft Office programs and familiarity with spreadsheet database and statistical analysis procedures.
- Must have a functioning and insured car that can carry up to 30 pairs of shoes, since a large portion of the job will be spent driving around Southern California meeting with testers.
