The Forklift Operator I is responsible for moving materials from inventory to production and back, maintaining accurate paperwork and production records. They provide materials to production departments based on schedules, move materials between stations, and handle finished goods by banding, wrapping, and labeling. The role includes moving finished goods to inventory, assisting production with material needs, and performing basic equipment maintenance. The operator completes checklists, reports problems, organizes the inventory yard, completes production records, and follows company forklift policies. The position involves participating in safety and CI programs and other duties as assigned. Responsibilities also includes following forklift rules and policies as described by the company policy.
Good To Have:- Forklift driving experience is preferred.
- Working knowledge of basic math and inventory techniques preferred.
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
Must Have:- Move materials between inventory and production.
- Maintain accurate records and provide materials based on schedules.
- Successfully complete Forklift Driver licensing process.
- Must be at least 18 years of age
