Barracuda Networks seeks a driven FP&A Intern to support financial decisions and key initiatives. Responsibilities include exposure to the monthly close process, variance analysis, monthly reporting, forecasting, ad-hoc analysis, and collaboration with stakeholders. The intern will gain deep understanding of business strategies and contribute to data-driven decision-making. This hybrid role (on-site Wednesdays and Thursdays) requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in Excel, and experience with FP&A systems (Adaptive Insights preferred).

We are seeking a driven, eager to learn Corporate FP&A Intern to join our Finance Team. As a Corporate FP&A Intern, you will help us partner with executive leadership and business units at Barracuda to optimize financial decisions and support on key initiatives including, P&L management, cost & ROI analysis, financial modeling, headcount planning, forecasting, data analytics and reporting. We want someone who is a self-starter, passionate about technology, and excited to learn something new.
What you'll be working on
- Exposure to the monthly close process, including collaborating with Accounting to review journal entries and accruals.
- Opportunity to perform in-depth variance analysis and prepare BU monthly reporting.
- Exposure to key financial processes including partnering with stakeholders to produce monthly forecasts and provide analytical support.
- Opportunity to perform ad hoc analysis to support data driven decision making for key stakeholders.
- Gain deep understanding of business strategies, issues, risks, and opportunities.
What you bring to the role
- Currently enrolled in the senior year of a Bachelor’s program in Finance, Business, or other analytical/quantitative fields
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to build successful working relationships with peers and partners
- Ability to interpret and synthesize data
- Detail oriented, with strong organization and task management skills
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel
- Experience with Adaptive Insights or other SaaS based FP&A systems preferred

The anticipated on-target earnings range for this role is $22.00 - $33.00 per hour in Campbell, CA. Actual compensation offered will be dependent upon the individual's education level, job type, and applicable employment laws.
