This internship provides hands-on experience in fraud operations within Super.com's Strategic Operations team. Responsibilities include reviewing customer accounts to gather evidence for disputes, analyzing data to identify customer behavior patterns and fraud opportunities, monitoring fraud dashboards, and contributing to special projects related to fraud and chargebacks. The ideal candidate possesses foundational business knowledge, attention to detail, and a passion for working with people. This role offers valuable experience in a fast-growing startup environment.

About this Role

This is a great opportunity to gain meaningful, hands-on experience in fraud operations. As a part of the broader Strategic Operations team, you will learn how the business works and have a direct impact on the customer experience. There will be opportunities to assist special projects. This internship is a good fit for a student with foundational business knowledge, excellent attention to detail, and a passion for working with people!

Challenges You'll Solve

    • Review customer accounts in order to compile compelling evidence for customer disputes
    • Assess data to gather insights on customer behavior and identify opportunities 
    • Monitor Fraud Dashboards to ensure we’re being proactive in our fraud mitigation efforts
    • Opportunity to participate in special projects related to fraud and chargebacks  

About You

    • You are a post-secondary student, studying business or finance
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
    • 1-2 years of work experience preferred
    • Experience with data analysis preferred
    • You have a passion for people, processes, and systems
    • You have a strong work ethic with a desire to contribute to a fast-growing startup
    • You are a critical thinker and problem-solver
    • You have the ability to learn quickly, paired with the desire to work hard
