Our entertainment and performance arts client is seeking a Freelance Copywriter for an ongoing, part-time assignment This role is hybrid n NYC and begins immediately.
What you'll be doing:
Working into a Director of Content to develop copy across a range of clients and mediums including social, digital, video and print.
Guide and mentor a Junior Copywriter to lift up their product of creative work.
Write for a variety of tones, being able to switch between projects effortlessly.
Leverage your expertise to drive the team towards smart solutions across social media best practices.
Work with the team to establish the brand's voice in social media.
Assemble directives and guidance as instructional elements to be used by multiple stakeholders to execute social media projects.
Presenting and selling creative concepts to large groups both internally and to the client.
About you:
3+ years of copywriting experience in marketing/advertising.
Experience writing for integrated media (video, print, social and digital) focused projects in the arts and entertainment space.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Demonstrates knowledge of market, competition and branding.
Must be versatile and be able to switch tone-of-voice between projects.
Communicate using brand strengths and client voice.
Proactive and results oriented: displays a sense of urgency.
Works collaboratively and independently.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Must have your own computer for this role.
