About Us:

We are a cutting-edge spatial computing team seeking a talented mid-level front-end web developer to join our innovative projects. Our work involves creating immersive, networked experiences that push the boundaries of web technology and spatial computing. 

  

Role Overview:

As a front-end web developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining sophisticated web applications that interface with our spatial computing systems. You'll work closely with our team to create seamless, secure, and high-performance user experiences. 

  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain complex, responsive web applications using React and modern JavaScript (ES6+) 
  • Implement performant, accessible, and visually appealing user interfaces 
  • Optimize front-end performance for speed and scalability 
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive design 
  • Implement real-time features using WebSocket technologies for networked systems 
  • Integrate with backend APIs and authentication services (e.g. Single Sign-On ) 
  • Contribute to component libraries and design systems 
  • Apply robust front-end security measures 
  • Collaborate effectively with UX/UI designers, back-end developers, and other team members 
  • Participate in code reviews and share knowledge with the team 
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly to technical stakeholders in other disciplines 
  • Stay updated with the latest front-end technologies and best practices 

  

Required Skills and Qualifications: 

  • 4-6 years of professional experience in front-end web development 
  • Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3 (including preprocessors like Sass), and JavaScript (ES6+) 
  • Experience with Next.js or other React-based frameworks 
  • Familiarity with modern front-end build tools and workflows (e.g., Webpack, Babel) Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX, or Recoil) 
  • Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility 
  • Understanding of web accessibility standards and best practices 
  • Experience with version control systems, preferably Git 
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail 
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment  


Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience with pixel streaming technologies 
  • Familiarity with WebGL or Three.js for 3D web graphics 
  • Knowledge of web performance optimization techniques 
  • Understanding of cloud architecture principles 
  • Experience integrating AI technologies into web applications 
  • Interest in or experience integrating AI/ML technologies into web applications 
  • Basic understanding of backend technologies (e.g., Node.js) and RESTful APIs 
  • Ability to leverage generative language models as an efficiency multiplier
