As a Front Office Manager, you will ensure guests feel welcome from the first moment with your understanding of people and your presence at the reception. You will lead your team with empathy and clarity, creating a motivating work environment. Your goal is a smooth Front Office operation from arrival to check-out and a professional appearance that consistently delights guests.
Must have:
  • Lead the Front Office team with empathy and clarity
  • Ensure smooth Front Office operations from check-in to check-out
  • Conduct check-ins and verify reservations, overbookings, and options
  • Monitor cost and lodging revenue budgets
  • Ensure quality standards and maintain the quality management system
  • Create duty and vacation schedules
  • Train, motivate, and lead the reception team
  • Conduct internal coaching, cross-training, and plan training for employee development
  • Develop apprentices
  • Collaborate closely with the Reservations and Sales departments
  • Hotel industry training or at least 2 years of professional experience in hotel/gastronomy or interest in a career change
  • Enjoy employee development and possess initial leadership experience
  • Exhibit host qualities, passion for hospitality, high quality awareness, and service orientation
  • Possess an open, communicative demeanor, good manners, and strong German & English language skills (spoken & written)
  • Demonstrate teamwork skills and willingness to support across departments

Job Description

As a Front Office Manager (m/f/d), with your intuition for people and your presence at the reception, you ensure that our guests feel welcome from the very first moment.

You lead your team with empathy and clarity and create a motivating work environment. Your goal: a smooth operation at the Front Office – from arrival to check-out – and a professional appearance that consistently delights guests.

In addition, your tasks include:

  • Performing check-ins and checking reservations, overbookings, and options
  • Monitoring cost and lodging revenue budgets
  • Ensuring quality standards and maintaining the quality management system
  • Creating duty and vacation schedules
  • Training, motivating, and leading the reception team
  • Conducting internal coaching, cross-training, and planning training for the further development of Front Office employees
  • Developing apprentices
  • Close collaboration with the Reservations and Sales departments

  • Host qualities and passion for the hotel industry, as well as a high quality awareness and service orientation
  • Open, communicative demeanor, good manners, and good expression in German & English (spoken & written)
