Full Stack Web Application Developer (BitCraft Online)

Clockwork Labs is seeking a talented and experienced Full Stack Web Application Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of our flagship game, BitCraft Online.

Responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and maintain a Node.js-based web application with a react frontend for player account management.
• Implement secure payment processing systems within the web app.
• Collaborate pro-actively with the game development and database back end team to ensure seamless integration between the game and the web app.
• Ensure the web app is scalable, secure, and performs efficiently under high traffic.
• Make user data analytics are easily accessible to developers for improving player experience and game performance.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of the web application.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies

You have a strong portfolio of web applications demonstrating that you have:

• Built a site with an account and login system
• Built a site with a payment system
• Experience with Postgres / SQL
• Experience with node.js
• Experience with TypeScript
• Experience with styled components / css modules
• Experience with React
• Experience deploying applications / developing CI / CD automation
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with Next.js

Clockwork Laboratories is a fully remote team. We meet daily so successful applicants will ideally be located within a UTC +2 to UTC -7 timezone and available to meet with the team between 1pm and 2pm EST.

This role will be a temporary contract position to start with potential to move to a permanent role.

As we are open to considering a range of experience and locations, the target base compensation is based on industry salary surveys and publicly available data and estimated to be +/- 15% of the 50th percentile for a Full Stack Developer in your geographical region with similar years and type of experience.

Our goal is to provide fair and equitable compensation based on market location as well as an individual candidate’s specific qualifications for an open role. Offers may be adjusted based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.

As an example, the expected base pay range at the start of employment for a senior level applicant residing in the United States is expected to be in between $100,000.00 and $150,000 USD per year depending on the factors above. Applicants with senior experience in higher cost of labour states may expect to be in the higher end of the range, while applicants in lower cost of labour states may be in the lower end. Offers for applicants from other countries may be outside of this range and offers will be based on the regional norms and the requirements of each location.
