Game Artist

Position Summary

Are you the artist whose creative and out of the box ideas connect more users? Join our team and take your talent and skills to the next level with Play Simple Games. This Game Artist will be responsible for In-Game art and UI for mobile games and ensure the highest degree of engagement through your skills. You will be expected to be a powerhouse when it comes to the aesthetics of the games. 

Requirements

What’s required of you

• 3 to 5 years of experience in gaming (mobile games)
  

• Ability to create a variety of art styles
  

• Capable of independently creating 2D art from concept to final render
  

• Hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Suite, especially in Photoshop, Illustrator. 
  

• An excellent team player with good communication and organization skills who demonstrates pride and responsibility in your work and modest and respectful when getting feedback. 
  

• Strong portfolio demonstrating various styles of game art and graphics
  

• Prior experience working on Figma.
  

• Prior experience working with AI tools like Midjourney, Dalle, etc is a plus.
  

• Active involvement in the game creation process by interacting with the design team.
  

• Development of the visual style of the game
  

• Develop and create 2D art and UI solutions, both existing and new ones 
  

• Develop visual concepts and ideas for future release 
  

• Understand the PlaySimple Games audience  
  

• Involve yourself with the look and feel of further projects in animation
  

• Experience in 3D and Spine is a plus
