Game Developer

Playnetic is on a mission to build high-quality, engaging slot games—and we need Game Developers to help us do it.

We’re scaling up our Game Development team to keep up with demand, delivering 10 games a month across a range of projects. From original slot games to reskins and sweepstakes, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our games are built to the highest standard and delivered on time.

You’ll be working on games that reach players worldwide, with the opportunity to bring ideas, solve challenges, and help shape our growing team and culture.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Developing high-quality slot games using Java, ensuring they meet our creative and technical standards.
• Working across full-stack development, with exposure to React, Angular, and PixiJS as we evolve our frontend tech stack.
• Collaborating with Game Development clans, focusing on reskins, sweepstakes, and new game production.
• Contributing to game development innovation and tooling, working alongside talented engineers, artists, and designers.
• Supporting increased game delivery velocity, helping us meet our ambitious roadmap.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• 2+ years of commercial Java experience—you’ll need to be comfortable building and optimising solutions.
• A mid-level developer who thrives in a fast-moving, collaborative environment.
• Some experience with Agile development.
• Solid communication skills in English.
• Bonus points if you have: Full-stack/frontend experience (React, Angular, PixiJS), iGaming/gambling industry knowledge, and familiarity with Jira, Confluence, GitLab.

HOW WE WORK

You’ll be part of a team led by experienced Team Leads, working within structured clans. Some engineers report to our Lead Game Engineer, while others focus on innovation, tooling, or new game features.

Established in 2023, Playnetic is a new player in the world of gaming entertainment. We design and build slot games from scratch - from idea to release. Our games will be played in regulated markets globally through industry-leading operators.

We're currently in a phase of growth and will scale considerably over the next 12 months.
