Game Developer - Java

At Playnetic, we’re looking for a passionate Game Developer - Java to help us create exceptional slot games that entertain and engage players worldwide. As part of our team, you’ll work on innovative gaming solutions that blend creativity, cutting-edge tech, and a bit of that Playnetic magic. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Develop exciting features for our game servers and tools, delivering high-quality, reliable solutions.
• Take ownership of the features you create, from concept to implementation.
• Collaborate with teams to solve unique challenges and enhance the products we offer.
• Research and implement new ways to improve our games and backend solutions.

WHAT YOU BRING:

• 2+ years of experience in Core Java development.
• Hands-on expertise with Spring Boot microservices and backend solutions.
• Solid understanding of SQL databases and REST-like APIs.
• Previous experience in iGaming/gambling or developing casino gaming solutions.
• A good grasp of probability theory and mathematical statistics—it’s a plus if you know your way around the odds.
• Strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and an Upper Intermediate level of English.

 BONUS POINTS FOR:

• Familiarity with tools like Maven, GitLab, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Skills in Web Sockets, JWT, and handling CORS.
• Knowledge of message brokers like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Cloud deployment, CI/CD, or performance optimization experience.
• Full stack web development or knowledge of Docker and NoSQL databases like Cassandra.

Established in 2023, Playnetic is a new player in the world of gaming entertainment. We design and build slot games from scratch - from idea to release. Our games will be played in regulated markets globally through industry-leading operators.

We're currently in a phase of growth and will scale considerably over the next 12 months.
