JOB TITLE: Live Services Gameplay Engineer

What We Need:
Firaxis Games is seeking a talented gameplay engineer to join our award-winning development team with a focus towards player engagement and retention. Firaxis is a highly collaborative and iterative environment, therefore we are looking for someone who can communicate easily and effectively with fellow coders, designers, and artists.
What You Will Do:
- Expand gameplay and system telemetry within an established code base.
- Build tools to analyze player interaction with gameplay elements.
- Collaborate with the game team to design and implement new gameplay systems to encourage new interactions and styles of play.
- Actively maintain skillset and knowledge base by keeping track of the latest innovations from the industry.
Who We Think Will Be A Great Fit:
- Strong C++ programming and debugging skills.
- Self-motivated and passionate about making games.
- Good communication skills.
- Familiarity with database design.
- 3+ years industry experience.
Pluses:
- Previous experience working with live services in games or other disciplines.
- Good instincts for game design and fun and innovative gameplay.
- Passion for turn-based strategy games or board games.
