Elodie Games seeks a Gameplay Producer to support the development of Seekers of Skyveil. Responsibilities include creating feature roadmaps and sprint goals, ensuring alignment with the game vision, tracking progress, identifying process improvements, leading team discussions on product goals, and working with individual team members to enhance effectiveness. The role involves overseeing crucial gameplay aspects like Seekers, maps, and gear, processing player feedback, and removing development roadblocks. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in game development production or design, a solid understanding of agile methodologies, and experience managing large, complex deliverables. This role requires a passion for multiplayer games and cross-functional team leadership.

We are embarking on the journey to releasing Seekers of Skyveil in Early Access and we need your help to support our gameplay teams by organizing and aligning work, running team rituals, driving the game vision and making important tactical decisions to ensure our key pillars make forward progress every sprint. This role focuses on skills such as product management, process management and game design to support our developers in doing their best work.

As Gameplay Producer you will work closely with our leadership team to determine gameplay priorities then work with our development teams to design features, break down work, prioritize tasks, conduct experiments, process feedback and remove blockers.  You will oversee crucial and exciting aspects of gameplay like Seekers, maps, gear and more.

Responsibilities:

    • Drive the creation of feature roadmaps and sprint goals in collaboration with cross-functional teams and leadership
    • Achieve and maintain a high level of understanding within the team of overall game vision and own connecting it to the team’s goals
    • Overall tracking of progress, and gathering insights from that tracking to inform future planning
    • Identifying and leading team-wide process iteration and improvement
    • Leading team-wide discussions on product goals, scope, process and definition of done
    • Work with individual teams members to improve overall effectiveness and happiness
    • Look at player feedback and deeply understand player resonance with various aspects of the game and use this knowledge to shape increments and drive engagement

Required Qualifications:

    • 5+ years experience in a production or design role on a game development team
    • Full life-cycle game dev experience
    • Solid understanding of agile project management practices, including Scrum and Kanban
    • Experience scheduling and scoping large and complex deliverables
    • Experience leading cross-functional teams
    • Passion for games, particularly multiplayer games  
In the United States, the standard base pay range for this role is $90,000 - $190,000 annually. This base pay range is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S., and those interviewing from outside of the U.S. can inquire accordingly. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience and performance. In addition to competitive base pay, employees in this role are eligible for equity, healthcare benefits, flexible paid time off, paid family leave, company-wide holidays, and relocation assistance where applicable.
