General labor is responsible for safely handling lumber products and verifying that materials meet customer requirements and company expectations. Key duties include moving and securing lumber products, stacking finished products according to specifications, labeling materials by type, size, and count, and applying individual tags. Workers will use and troubleshoot staple guns, band, bundle, and secure materials with corner protectors and loading sticks, ensuring correct quantities and labeling. They will also maintain accurate inventory of tags, record production, keep the work area clean and organized, assist in other areas by moving materials and loading/unloading carts, and participate in safety programs. No minimum experience is required, but manufacturing or lumber experience is preferred. A working knowledge of basic math is preferred, and applicants must be at least 18 years old.
