As an Enterprise Hunter Account Executive at Databricks, you will be an experienced sales professional focusing on private sector enterprise accounts, primarily prospects or those with limited existing Databricks spend. You will track customer information in Salesforce and promote Databricks' enterprise cloud data platform.

Job Details

Position Summary:

As an Enterprise Hunter Account Executive at Databricks, you are a sales professional with experience in selling to private sector enterprise accounts. These accounts are primarily prospects or have limited existing spend on Databricks. You know how to sell innovation and change by expanding the customer's vision and can guide deals to reduce decision cycles. You love to understand products in depth and are passionate about communicating their value to customers and system integrators. Always looking for new opportunities, you will be asked to maintain and grow existing accounts, with a specific focus on closing and developing new logos.

The impact you will have:

  • Meet with Chief Information Officers, IT executives, business line executives, program managers, and other key partners
  • Close both new and existing accounts
  • Identify and close small, quick wins while managing longer, more complex sales cycles
  • Exceed activity, pipeline, and revenue targets
  • Track all customer information, including use cases, purchase timelines, next steps, and forecasts in Salesforce
  • Use a solution-based approach to sell and create value for customers
  • Promote Databricks' enterprise cloud data platform powered by Apache Spark™
  • Ensure 100% satisfaction among all customers
  • Prioritize opportunities and apply appropriate resources
  • Develop a plan for success internally at Databricks and externally with your accounts

What we look for:

  • Previous experience working in an early-stage company and knowing how to navigate and succeed
  • Field sales experience in data, AI, cloud, and SaaS sales
  • Previous client relationships with Chief Information Officers, program managers, and essential decision-makers
  • Ability to simply articulate complex cloud technologies
  • More than 5 years of experience exceeding sales quotas
  • Success in closing new accounts while working with existing accounts
  • Knowledge of Spark and big data is preferred
  • Passion for cloud technologies
  • Bachelor's degree
