As a Global Finance SCM – Senior Analyst, you will partner with the ASUX SCM function to drive savings initiatives and manage the financial planning and performance management of direct materials. Your responsibilities include leading savings initiatives, executing material forecasting, developing budgets, standardizing processes, tracking performance, and providing technical finance expertise to the global SCM organization. You will collaborate with various teams to influence business decisions, identify risks, and leverage opportunities in a timely manner.

Job Summary

  • Finance business partner for ASUX SCM function (running a $3.7B material APV), working closely with the global SCM team & senior leadership to implement and track YoY savings initiatives (approx. 4% of APV) to achieve targets.
  • Key element of a global SCM finance team that works together with the regional leads and plant teams (SCM, PC&L and Finance) to articulate and execute the global plan.
  • Enabler of data transparency/simplification/synchronization & business intelligence to bring material budgeting, forecasting and actuals reporting to a stage to influence and drive business decisions proactively, anticipating risks and leveraging opportunities in a timely manner.

Your role:

  • Strategic Savings Leadership: Lead global year-over-year savings initiatives (~140M target for 2025) on direct material for multiple categories including Design, Freight/Duty, P2P/VPI, NCP, Inventory Variance Capitalization, Software Royalties, and Broker Buys.
  • Financial Planning & Performance Management: Execute comprehensive direct material forecasting and actuals reporting cycles, working collaboratively with SCM, PC&L, Engineering, and plant/regional finance teams to drive plan execution and proactively identify risks.​
  • Global Budget Development: Generate detailed global material budget files at part number level, managing revenue & cost inputs from plants/BUs, SCM target material performance, and FP&A adjustments to create an integrated view of material costs.
  • Process Standardization & Implementation: Implement standardized processes for freight capitalization, costs and accruals management, and inventory variance capitalization across all global plants, ensuring consistent financial treatment.
  • Performance Tracking & Reporting: Prepare and maintain key performance dashboards and databases, which guide operational team focus and serve as inputs for leadership meetings. This could also be deleted, a bit overlap with 2nd bullet point above
  • Technical Finance Expertise: Serve as finance/accounting subject matter expert for the global SCM organization, providing technical knowledge to bridge operational actions with financial recognition in company statements and supporting ad-hoc analysis requests.

Your Background:

  • At least 3-5 years of work experience in finance/controlling (ideally working at plant level with SAP, material/SCM, Bill of Materials and product costing)
  • Eager to learn, advanced problem-solving abilities and passion for new challenges with a sense of urgency in a very dynamic business scenario
  • Pro-active and autonomous team player in a global environment, flexible to work with international timelines/deadlines and to manage multiple stakeholders across different time zones
  • Analytical & structured mindset, always working acting like owners and with data to draw conclusions in an unbiased way
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to be able to effectively manage several stakeholders with different seniority levels
  • Proficient in MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables, etc) and experience in using SAP to extract data
  •  Bachelor's/Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration with major in Finance - Fluent in English (writing & speaking selected.
