Job Description
The Global Post Import Audit Program Manager at Google will manage post-import audits of Google Cloud's import operations, using data from customs brokers, authorities, and internal dashboards. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with trade requirements (classification, valuation, origin, etc.), tracking broker performance, identifying trends, and communicating findings to stakeholders and senior leadership. The role also involves supporting other trade compliance initiatives to enhance controls and efficiency. This requires a deep understanding of international import/export regulations and experience working with global trade compliance teams and customs brokers in an audit capacity. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Must have:
- 5+ years import/export trade compliance experience
- Experience with import classification, customs valuation, country of origin
- Data analysis and trend analysis skills
- Manage post-import audits
- Drive continuous improvement
Good to have:
- Experience in trade compliance data analytics and trend analysis
- Knowledge of local and regional customs compliance
- Experience working with regional and global trade compliance teams and customs brokers in an audit function

Job Details
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in international import and export trade compliance operations.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in trade compliance data analytics and trend analysis in the area of trade compliance operations.
- Experience with import classification, customs valuation, country of origin, Incoterms, ADD/CVD, import permits/licenses, import record management, and oversight of customs brokers to ensure accuracy of import declarations.
- Experience driving corrective actions in import operations, with the ability to strengthen trade compliance controls.
- Knowledge of local and regional customs compliance and import operations, including experience working with regional and global trade compliance teams and customs brokers in an audit function.
- Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities
- Manage post import audits of Google Cloud’s import operations with data from customs brokers, customs authorities, and internal dashboards to ensure that trade compliance requirements in the area of classification, customs valuation, country of origin, participating government agency requirements, and other import requirements are met.
- Track broker and international operational performance with data gleaned from import audit result to assess trends and communicate them to all applicable stakeholders and senior leadership to drive continuous improvements.
- Support other trade compliance initiatives and efforts to strengthen compliance controls and operational efficiency.
