The Graduate Data Processing Executive will be part of the Data Processing team, which supports research teams in Europe, the USA, the Middle East, and APAC. The role involves preparing and processing survey data using statistical software, liaising with researchers, validating data, and managing project analyses. This role offers a 12-month program with training and mentorship, and the potential for a permanent position. Responsibilities include using statistical software, client communication, and meeting deadlines.

Here’s a summary of the role:

Operations provide support to research teams in Europe, the USA, the Middle East and APAC, enabling them to
offer quality consultancy on a wide variety of topics.  You will be part of Data Processing team which strives  to  produce  accurate  results  every  time  and supports the rest of the company in delivering innovative and robust solutions.

Our 12-month graduate programme gives you the opportunity to gain data processing training alongside on the job coaching from a range of mentors, you will receive further support from our Talent Development team.  There will be an opportunity to join us permanent at the end.

During your programme, you will receive the following from us:

  • Learnings about the flow of a project: needs, setup, data collection, deliveries
  • Understanding the questionnaires and respondent's flow through a survey
  • Learnings about type of variables and how the data is being stored in databases
  • Training in using the data and adding insights to the data, using different tools:
  • Trainings for Quantipy and Crunch (Python)
  • Learning about IBM SPSS Statistics, R Studio
  • Learnings about DP best-practices

Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll do (not all of it, just the important stuff):

  • Using Scrunch or Quantipy statistical software systems to prepare and process survey data for tabulation
  • Liaising with the researchers to determine, prepare and deliver the appropriate outputs, tabulation specification and timeline as requested by the client
  • Cleansing and validating data in the relevant software (SPSS, Quantipy)
  • Running bespoke project analyses for consulting groups
  • Managing your own workload to ensure that deadlines are met and standards are achieved
  • Maintaining excellent record administration so as to have an accurate log of work carried out as part of the service
  • Putting client service at the forefront of what you do by producing work to a high quality and developing good working relationships with clients

These are the essentials you’ll need to get an interview:

  • Fluent in English
  • Familiarity with any statistical language (e.g. SPSS, python, R)
  • Degree in an IT-based subject, or evidence of a similar level of computer skills
  • Ability to deal with problems that are varied and require analysis or interpretation of the situation, by using knowledge and skills, and general precedents and practices
