As a Graphic Design Summer Intern at Sunblink, you will utilize your exceptional slide deck skills to communicate new ideas and generate excitement for upcoming projects. This internship involves both independent work and collaborative efforts with high-level product, business, and design teams. You'll be responsible for creating templates, themes, and assets that are clear, evocative, and aligned with project goals. The role requires proficiency in various software like PowerPoint, Google Slides, and Keynote, along with excellent Photoshop skills and familiarity with AI tools. The ability to work in a cross-disciplinary environment, communicate effectively, and adapt to rapid iteration is essential.

Graphic Design Summer Intern

Core Requirements
Incredible Graphic Design Sensibilities - You know how to present information in a way that is clear, succinct, and evocative. You can generate templates and themes that are unique and reflect the emotions and tone of a feature or concept
Software Flexibility - You can work in PowerPoint, Google Slides, and Keynote as needed
Excellent Photoshop Skills - You’re able to create any necessary assets to contribute to a theme or template, and don’t get blocked by needing artist time
Self-Directed, Cross-Disciplinary - You can take raw text or an idea dump and turn it into a beautiful, coherent deck, iterating with various stakeholders
AI Tool Familiarity - You’re able to generate temporary stand-in assets and iterate until you have high confidence in a request for the art team
Cross-Disciplinary Communication - You’re proficient at cross team communication and happy to work with designers, artists, and product folks to make a deck that resonates with a variety of disciplines and stakeholders
Rapid Iteration - You’re comfortable with rapid iteration, frequent adjustments to direction, and endless feedback to improve something
Required Experience
Portfolio of 1-3 decks
Experience working on a cross-disciplinary team
