The ideal candidate is a critical thinker with strong communication skills and experience supervising teams. Experience with liquid paint is a plus.

Job Description

The Paint Support Team Lead position will require working with varying levels of management in multiple departments to fulfill customer orders both domestically and internationally. Must be able to communicate, collaborate, and work well across teams in a multi-discipline organization. The ideal candidate must be developmentally focused, have high energy/drive, be a critical thinker, thrive in a fast-paced work environment, and demonstrate strong communication.

Hours:

1st Shift - 6 am - 2 pm

Position responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of 10+ employees and as many as 15+ employees during peak production
  • Lead and motivate the team to exceed expectations in safety, quality, productivity, and teamwork
  • Maintain a positive attitude in the most challenging situations
  • Create and facilitate a positive experience for your direct reports
  • Model continuous improvement and lean leadership philosophies to increase efficiency
  • Develop and foster Cell Leader talent within the respective department
  • Accurately manage inventory integrity and accuracy
  • Lead and innovate processes and safety practices
  • Ensure the department is compliant with OSHA standards
  • Monitor workload to ensure staff, tools and supplies are optimal for success
  • Monitor and measure team performance
  • Manage team attendance

Position requirements:

  • 2+ years of relevant working experience
  • Experience working with liquid paint a plus
  • Experience in innovating processes
  • Experience supervising and leading a team
