Job Description

As a Growth Analyst, Marketing at Zynga, you'll analyze user behavior data to identify growth opportunities across various marketing channels (paid media, social media, influencer campaigns, app stores). You'll analyze A/B testing results, track marketing campaign performance using KPIs (CPI, ROAS, DAU, MAU, LTV), and collaborate with product, creative, and analytics teams. Responsibilities include optimizing campaign performance, providing data-driven insights, and aligning marketing goals with overall game development objectives. The role requires strong analytical skills, data visualization expertise, and excellent communication.
Must have:
  • Analyze user behavior data
  • A/B testing analysis
  • KPI tracking (CPI, ROAS, DAU, MAU, LTV)
  • Advanced SQL skills
  • Data visualization (Tableau, Looker)
  • 2+ years marketing analytics experience
Good to have:
  • Gaming industry experience
  • Experience with Firebase, Appsflyer, or other MMPs

GROWTH ANALYST, MARKETING

What you’ll be doing?

  • Analyze and interpret user behavior data to identify growth opportunities across various marketing channels, including paid media, social media, influencer campaigns, and app stores, in order to drive user acquisition and engagement
  • Help analyze A/B testing on marketing campaigns and creatives to evaluate and identify the most effective strategies for user acquisition, optimizing campaign performance
  • Track and measure marketing campaign performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Cost Per Install (CPI), Return on Ad Spend (ROAS), Daily Active Users (DAU), Monthly Active Users (MAU), and Player Lifetime Value (LTV), providing insights for optimization
  • Collaborate with product, creative, and analytics teams to ensure alignment between marketing goals, user acquisition strategies, and overall game development objectives

What you need?

  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in marketing analytics, preferably within the gaming industry
  • Experience with performance marketing analytics platforms, such as Firebase, Appsflyer, or other MMPs (Mobile Measurement Partners), is a valuable asset.
  • Advanced SQL skills and experience with different programming languages
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker)
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
