Pico is committed to offering immersive and interactive XR experiences to our customers, including providing tailor-made solutions for our enterprise clients in the fields of education and healthcare.
- As a world-renowned VR/AR brand with independent innovation and R&D capabilities, Pico has been at the forefront of the consumer electronic market. We have teams in Northern America, Europe, Japan and South Korea. We are looking for a skilled and creative hardware product manager to join us to build our VR/AR new product.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and drive the entire product lifecycle process, including market analysis, product definition, design, development, packaging, manufacturing, launch, and post-sales support.
2. Plan features based on product concepts, analyze user behavior, draft product specifications, facilitate initial requirement communications, conduct technical research, and track and study related product concept requirements.
3. Monitor project progress, ensuring product stages align with requirements, and collaborate with the project manager to create quality and risk management plans, highlighting key development paths and decision points throughout the product lifecycle.
4. Manage, implement, and validate product requirements, as well as control and make decisions on any changes to product requirements.
5. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities; proactively gather insights into user needs, propose improvements, manage issues arising at different product stages, analyze user data, and continuously enhance the product experience.
6. Facilitate communication and coordination with other departments, such as Sales, Marketing, and R&D.
7. Provide support related to the market and sales of the product.
Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electronics, Computer Science, Software, or related fields.
2. 5+ years of experience in the consumer electronics industry, with a preference for experience in product planning and execution for consumer electronics, smart wearables, IoT products, etc.
3. Excellent logical thinking and analytical skills, with a solid grasp of product planning, design, and user research methodologies.
4. Strong passion for smart hardware and the internet, with sharp product insight capabilities; able to thoroughly analyze products and identify strengths and weaknesses.
5. Proficiency in advanced product design methodologies, documentation skills, independent project execution, project management, and cross-functional collaboration.
6. Effective communication skills for collaborating with engineers, designers, and third-party companies (e.g., factories, solution providers).
- Preferred Qualifications
1. Demonstrated experience in managing product lifecycle processes from concept through launch.
2. Proven ability to handle multiple complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
3. Familiarity with AR/XR technology and its applications in hardware product development.

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (Annually)The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $137750 - $266000 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
