Job Description
As Head of Data at BeReal, you'll leverage large datasets to solve strategic and operational challenges. You'll empower product teams to use data effectively, providing actionable insights from A/B tests to inform product development. Building and scaling a robust data infrastructure (GCP, BigQuery, Spanner, Airflow, DBT, Amplitude, Hex, Tableau) is key. You will lead and mentor a team of data professionals. This role demands strong analytical skills, experience with data science and engineering, and a passion for transforming data into impactful business decisions.

We are now an international team of 60+ and have 30M+ monthly active users. Backed by Voodoo, our team is fully focused on scaling BeReal into an iconic social network used by hundreds of millions.
We are looking for a talented Head of Data, deeply passionate about algorithms, data science, data-engineering and data-driven decisions, transforming raw data into clear actionable business insights, who will play a key role in the development of BeReal.
Role
- Tackle strategic and operational challenges by analyzing large and complex datasets
- Enable product teams to independently navigate Amplitude dashboards and make informed decisions
- Provide actionable recommendations from A/B tests to shape the product roadmap
- Build and scale a robust data infrastructure that addresses both business intelligence and data science needs
- Lead and mentor a team of Data Analysts, Data Engineers, and Data Scientists
