As the Head of Product Marketing, Developer Marketing, you will be the bridge between our AI engineering teams, our product management group, and our go-to-market functions. You will ensure that we not only articulate the unique strengths of the Inworld framework, but also ground it in a nuanced understanding of the broader AI and gaming ecosystems.
You’ll track AI industry trends, monitor competitors, and anticipate shifts in the developer landscape to guide product positioning and influence the product roadmap based on developer feedback and market trends.
Your work will help us stand out as the market leader in agentic game AI—delivering value for game studios, indie developers, and media and entertainment titans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Market Positioning:
- Develop a holistic understanding of the AI landscape, including emerging technologies, industry trends, regulatory considerations, and the evolving developer mindset.
- Gather and interpret market feedback, user behavior, and developer sentiment to refine messaging, product direction, and future marketing initiatives.
- Continuously analyze competitor platforms, market shifts, and emerging technologies to inform positioning and product strategy. Ensure we’re always prepared to lead, not follow.
- Product Messaging & Storytelling:
- Craft compelling messaging and value propositions that distill complex AI concepts into clear, credible narratives that resonate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Translate unique product capabilities into broader industry context, showcasing how our framework addresses current AI challenges and capitalizes on future opportunities.
- Go-to-Market & Content Creation:
- Lead go-to-market strategies for new features, ensuring each launch is positioned within the broader industry narrative.
- Produce developer-focused materials—whitepapers, e-books, blog posts, and reference architectures—that provide tangible, practical insights into leveraging our framework.
- Curate thought leadership content analyzing industry trends, guiding developers on how to adapt to and succeed in a rapidly evolving ecosystem.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Technical Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience. Fluency with AI/ML concepts. Familiarity with game development workflows.
- Market & Industry Expertise: 5+ years in product marketing, product management, engineering, or developer relations roles—preferably within AI.
- Compelling Communication: Exceptional storytelling skills, with a knack for turning complexity into clarity. Experience delivering presentations, publishing technical content, and engaging with developer audiences.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Proven success working with product, engineering, design, and sales teams to align marketing initiatives with business objectives.
- Analytical Mindset: Comfort with both qualitative and quantitative analysis, using data and industry research to inform strategies and measure results.
- Passion for AI & Gaming: Genuine enthusiasm for the potential of AI-driven experiences and the future of interactive entertainment.
