Scopely is looking for a Head/Director of Infrastructure to join our Monopoly GO! Game team in one of our global studio hubs, or remotely.

Monopoly GO! is our new casual game and a key franchise that has just become Scopely’s largest game, enjoyed by millions of players. The team is based in Europe and the US, and works every day to create captivating new experiences for our players.
What You Will Do
The Head of Infrastructure at Scopely is a role that transcends the conventional. You will be instrumental in architecting a robust infrastructure that not only supports but also amplifies the creative and operational potential of our developers. Through strategic foresight and a commitment to excellence, you will ensure that our infrastructure acts as a catalyst for innovation, providing the tools and systems that enable our teams to bring their most ambitious ideas to life.
Responsibilities will include:
- Foundational Capability Building: Craft an infrastructure that serves as the bedrock for innovation, enabling the development team to explore, create, and iterate with agility and confidence
- Operational Excellence: Elevate operational practices to ensure seamless performance and reliability, setting new standards for what our teams can achieve
- Empowering Collaboration: Foster an environment where infrastructure insights and tools are openly shared, empowering developers to fully leverage our technology stack in their creative processes
- Security and Resilience as Enablers: View infrastructure security and disaster recovery not just as necessities but as enablers of creative freedom, providing the team with the confidence to push boundaries
- Strategic Partnerships: Work closely with all facets of the Scopely team, from art to engineering, ensuring that infrastructure development is deeply integrated with and responsive to the needs of the game and its creators
What We’re Looking For
- A track record of leading infrastructure in environments where technology and creativity intersect, particularly in the tech or gaming sectors
- Experience with AWS services, demonstrating how technology can be a force multiplier for team creativity and efficiency
- A history of operational success, including implementing security measures and disaster recovery plans that bolster rather than constrain development efforts
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with a knack for inspiring teams and fostering a culture of shared success and innovation
