The Opportunity

AliveCor is looking for a Healthcare Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR) Lead to join our Services team.  The person will lead AliveCor’s efforts in demonstrating the clinical and economic value of our clinical solutions.  The ideal candidate will be able to translate scientific data into compelling economic narratives to assist in product adoption and market access of our devices and services.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:  

• Lead the creation of robust economic models (e.g., cost-effectiveness, budget impact, claims-based analysis) that underscore the clinical and financial value of AliveCor’s technology and programs to healthcare systems, payers, and policymakers
• Analyze claims sets and other data sources to demonstrate AliveCor’s clinical and economic value proposition
• Oversee and guide both internal and external research projects, ensuring the delivery of timely, high-quality, and impactful scientific and economic outcomes
• Communicate AliveCor’s economic and outcome analyses to a diverse array of stakeholders, from executive leadership and external payers to patient advocacy groups and key opinion leaders
• Lead the integration of HEOR strategies into global regulatory and market access initiatives, ensuring all activities align with national and international healthcare regulations and reimbursement frameworks
• Partner with market access to articulate product value proposition to support market access strategy

Qualifications & Skills:  

• Advanced degree in health economics, public health, or a related health field 
  10+ years of hands-on experience in health economics and outcomes research within the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or medical device industry
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex HEOR projects and leading cross-functional teams
• At least three years of business experience working in a start-up or related high-growth organization
• Experience working with claims and clinical datasets to demonstrate value of a clinical solutions
• Outstanding scientific writing skills with experience in the creation of peer-reviewed publications 
  Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., SAS, Stata, R) that supports data analysis and modeling
