Garena is seeking a highly experienced Senior Marketing Specialist to lead and execute marketing initiatives for their new game in Hanoi. Responsibilities include developing and implementing integrated marketing communication (IMC) plans to boost user awareness, engagement, and interest in new content and events. The role demands strong strategic thinking, budget management, and collaboration with internal and external teams. This includes managing the IMC mix across social media, building relationships with partners (production houses, influencers, KOLs), leveraging analytics to drive key metrics, and mentoring junior team members. A passion for gaming (with 100+ hours of FPS experience) and a proven track record in campaign launching and content production are crucial.

About The Position

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Marketing Specialist, working full-time and based in Hanoi. The position will need expertise in Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) planning to lead and execute marketing initiatives for our new game. The ideal candidate will develop and implement strategies to grow user awareness, engagement, and interest in new content and events. This role requires strong strategic thinking, budget management, and collaboration with both internal and external teams to deliver impactful campaigns.

 

Your Quest

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies and IMC plans to enhance awareness, engagement, and interest in new Gaming content and events.
  • Define content USPs, key messaging, and execute detailed marketing plans to achieve brand and campaign objectives.
  • Manage the execution elements of the optimal IMC mix and leverage contents on various social media channels.
  • Manage marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources, timely execution, and alignment with performance goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., product, design, video editing, legal, purchasing, and development teams) to execute integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Manage and cultivate relationship with external partners including production houses, agencies, influencers, KOLs, social media platforms (Facebook, YouTube), artists, and cosplayers to amplify brand visibility and engagement.
  • Use analytics to drive key success metrics related to the marketing and brand awareness campaign & apply learnings in next projects.  
  • Manage and train junior marketing collaborators to ensure team growth and performance.
Job Requirements

Your Stats

  • Passion about the Game industry is a must. Have at least 100 hours playing FPS game.
  • Bachelor's degree from a reputable university or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in end-to-end strategic marketing with extensive experience in digital. marketing and campaign management is a must, and prior experience working in the Gaming industry is a plus.
  • Proven track record (with portfolio) of campaign launching and content production.
  • Highly logical and analytical, with a curious mind to constantly explore industry best practices.
  • Able to handle multiple tasks in an organized manner and deliver under pressure.
  • Able to communicate fluently and effectively in Vietnamese and English.
