thatgamecompany is looking for a talented and versatile HR Generalist (Recruitment Focus) to help grow our team.
What you'll do here:
Recruitment & Staffing (Primary Focus):
Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies (job boards, social media, networking, referrals) to attract diverse candidates.
Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, craft job descriptions, and set recruitment timelines.
Post openings on relevant platforms and company career sites.
Screen resumes, conduct phone/video interviews, and coordinate in-person interviews.
Manage candidate pipelines using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and ensure timely communication.
Conduct reference checks, negotiate offers, and oversee onboarding processes.
Track recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, cost-per-hire) to refine strategies and improve efficiency.
Enhance employer branding through recruitment marketing and positive candidate experiences.
HR Generalist Support:
Facilitate new hire onboarding, including orientation and paperwork.
Address employee inquiries and support conflict resolution.
Ensure compliance with labor laws and update policies as needed.
Maintain accurate HR records and generate reports on turnover, retention, and recruitment.
Assist in performance management, training coordination, and HR projects.
You Must:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience: 5-8 years in HR, with 3+ years focused on high-volume recruitment.
Skills:
Expertise in full-cycle recruiting and modern sourcing techniques.
Proficiency in ATS (e.g., Greenhouse, Workday), MS Office, and social recruiting.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
Organized with the ability to prioritize in fast-paced environments.
