Job Description

This HR Intern role involves overseeing daily HR operations, including P-file maintenance, documentation, and optimizing processes. The intern will support company culture events, manage vendor sourcing and invoice payments, and assist in organizing employee training. Key responsibilities also include addressing HR-related queries on onboarding, offboarding, mobility, claims, and benefits, promoting wellness programs, and participating in various ad-hoc HR projects. The ideal candidate is an undergraduate with strong communication and organizational skills, proactive, and proficient in Microsoft Office.

  • Participate in ad-hoc HR projects.
  • Undergraduate with bachelor’s degree or above.

What the Role Entails

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day HR operational duties such as P-file maintenance, HR Documentation and HR related letters. Support to optimize HR operations processes
  • Support organizing company culture events such as team building, culture day, all-hands meeting and to build rapport, engage and sustain good relationships with stakeholders. Promote communication and exchanges between the 2 legal entities in Japan
  • Vendor Sourcing / Procurement / Invoice payment processing
  • Support planning and organizing training for employees.
  • Address queries on all HR related matters for example, onboarding/offboarding, mobility, claims and/or benefits related questions which need local HR to cover
  • Promote wellness programmes to help further enhance the culture and happiness of the Japan office
  • Participate in various ad-hoc HR projects from time to time

Who We Look For

Requirements

  • Currently an undergraduate with a bachelor’s degree or above. Prior HR related work experience or internships will be a strong plus
  • Possess strong communication skills, self driven individual and is proactive
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize and follow up on actions
  • Decent understand of the local laws and regulations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Software
