As an HR Legal Advisor, you’ll make an impact by:
Providing expert HR legal advice and support on HR-related matters, including e.g. employee relations, contracts, social documents and compliance with Belgian (individual & collective) labour laws, social security, international employment as well as GDPR-HR related topics.
Advising on disciplinary issues.
Supporting the HR team in the implementation of company-wide initiatives and projects.
Conducting training sessions on HR legal matters to enhance the knowledge and skills of HR colleagues and managers.
Assisting in the development and implementation of HR policies and practices to mitigate legal risks and promote a positive workplace culture.
Keeping abreast of legal developments in employment law and advising the business pro-actively on potential impacts.
Handling communications and contacts with external organisations (e.g., social inspection, law firms, government agencies)
About you
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR legal advisory roles, preferably within a large organisation or law firm.
Degree: Master's degree in Law, with a specialisation in employment/labour law.
Skills: Strong analytical skills, excellent communication and negotiation skills, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and a keen eye for detail.
Languages: Fluent in Dutch and English, with a good command of French.
