Job Description

The HR Officer will report to the HR VP for China Mainland & HK and will be responsible for a wide range of HR activities. This includes defining objectives with senior managers, communicating proactively, managing project schedules, and coordinating with various stakeholders. The role involves managing projects related to talent, culture, performance, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness. They will also support broader HR initiatives and annual agendas, such as performance & rewards and restructuring processes. Additionally, the HR Officer may handle employee relations, investigations, and relocation support. The role requires strong project management skills and the ability to diagnose and deliver change projects aligned with HR and business strategies. They will also be responsible for coordination of China disciplinary commitment meetings.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Administration or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of job-related experience.
  • Good bilingual oral and written communication skills.
  • Expertise in personnel administration.
Good to have:
  • Experience in Talent management.
  • Experience in HR project management.
  • Experience in HR data analysis.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Master data analytic.

Job Details

Report to: HR VP, China Mainland & HK

These responsibilities include some of the following:

  • Define the required objectives in consultation with Senior Managers

  • Communicate proactively with Senior Managers

  • Incorporate the projected schedule based on attendance and absences

  • Manage the follow-up on compliance, completeness, and timeliness of projects

  • Identify and coordinate specific or complex requests

  • Contribute to change management improvement activities

  • Perform transactional activities and call management

  • Manage Key people-related projects related to talent, culture, performance management,  leadership development and organizational effectiveness, aligned to senior leaders across several global functions

  • Support HR Business Lead of Mainland & Hong Kong on larger, organizational wide initiatives, restructurings, Capability Building programs, etc.

  • Successfully manage progress and track key HR project milestones, deliverable and metrics – aligned to HR Objectives

  • Diagnose and/or deliver change projects in line with the HR and business agenda

  • Support key annual HR Agendas (Performance & Rewards process, Restructuring processes, Immigration, Employee Relations)

  • May need occasionally conduct other HR exercises (employee relations, people-related cases or investigations, relocation support, etc.)

  • Coordination of China disciplinary commitment meetings

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Administration or equivalent experience; HR management or Psychology is preferred major for this role

  • 3+ years' job-related experience

  • Good bilingual oral and written communication

  • Expertise in personnel administration (social secretariat, personnel administration, etc.)

  • Ability to master the use of various software programs to optimize resources

  • Ability to plan and organize your time to work efficiently

  • Recognize and adapt to change and evolution

  • Prefer experience in Talent management, HR project management and HR data analysis

  • Strong project management skills

  • Master data analytic

  • Develop constructive working relationships with clients and listen to their customer need
