Tesla seeks an HR Operations Payroll Specialist in London to join its growing HR team. Responsibilities include timely data collation for payroll, transmitting data to external vendors, managing employee payroll records, processing payments, coordinating with internal/external stakeholders, generating payroll and HR reports, and improving processes. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Experience in HR and/or payroll input preparation is essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and excellent written and spoken English. The successful candidate will contribute to providing a best-in-class employee experience for UK, Ireland, Turkey, and the Middle East.
Must have:
  • Payroll data collation and transmission
  • Employee payroll record management
  • Payment processing (advance, termination, etc.)
  • Stakeholder coordination (internal/external)
  • Report generation and distribution
  • Process improvement recommendations
  • HRIS and E-Ticketing system knowledge (plus)
  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency (Excel)
  • Excellent organizational and detail-oriented skills

What You’ll Do
  • Responsible for timely collating of payroll relevant data and transmitting all payroll input to our external payroll vendors
  • Perform tasks to establish and maintain employee payroll records
  • Process advance, termination and other out-of-cycle payments
  • Independently coordinate and liaise with our internal stakeholders and/or external parties (as required)
  • Run, develop and distribute payroll and HR reports to various stakeholders in a timely and accurate manner
  • Manage relationships with wider HR-teams to ensure timely and accurate payments, making recommendations for and implementing process improvements
  • Responsible for maintaining current work instructions and FAQs to support employees to self-serve 
What You’ll Bring
  • Experience in HR and/or Payroll input preparation
  • Working knowledge of HRIS and E-Ticketing tool systems a plus
  • Must be extremely organized and detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks or shift priorities as needed in a fast-changing environment against deadlines
  • Proven skill at handling stressful issues and interfacing with all levels of the business in a courteous and professional manner
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; specifically Excel
  • English language skills; both written and spoken
