Job Description

The HR Operations Payroll Specialist will be responsible for timely data collation and transmission for payroll to external vendors. Responsibilities include maintaining employee payroll records, processing payments (advance, termination, etc.), coordinating with internal/external stakeholders, managing garnishments, generating payroll/HR reports, and collaborating with country payroll partners for accurate and timely payments. The ideal candidate will have experience in payroll input preparation, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Fluency in Norwegian and English is required. This role demands excellent time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks within a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do
  • Responsible for timely collating of payroll relevant data and transmitting all payroll input to our external payroll vendors
  • Perform tasks to establish and maintain employee payroll records
  • Process advance, termination and other out-of-cycle payments
  • Independently coordinate and liaise with our internal stakeholders and/or external parties (as required)
  • Process and monitor garnishment orders and other issues that impact payroll specifications
  • Run, develop and distribute payroll and HR reports to various stakeholders in a timely and accurate manner
  • Manage relationships with country payroll partners to ensure timely and accurate payments, making recommendations for and implementing process improvements
  • What You’ll Bring
    • Experience in Payroll input preparation
    • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
    • Working knowledge of HRIS and E-Ticketing tool systems a plus
    • Must be extremely organized and detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks or shift priorities as needed in a fast-changing environment
    • Proven skill at handling stressful issues and interfacing with all levels of the business in a courteous and professional manner
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; specifically Excel
    • Norwegian and English language skills; both written and spoken
