Volmi - A Virtuos Studio seeks an HTML5 Developer to develop and optimize web-based game controllers using HTML5, JavaScript, and TypeScript. Collaborate with designers and developers for seamless integration. Build responsive, interactive, high-performance web interfaces, debug issues, and maintain technical documentation. The role requires proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript, experience with responsive web development, and familiarity with game mechanics or interactive web design. Experience in web gaming, playable ads, or interactive media is a plus. Must have:

- Responsive and interactive web development experience

- WebSocket or real-time communication protocols knowledge
- Git version control
- Clean, maintainable, efficient code

- PixiJS, Phaser, or similar framework experience

Volmi - A Virtuos Studio is an outsourcing company that specializes in game development and game content creation. Over the past 7 years, we have successfully completed over a thousand different projects and have gained considerable experience in creating 2D and 3D art, as well as developing turnkey games. Since 2022, we have been a part of Virtuos, the world's leading game developer, and have become the first Virtuos studio in Eastern Europe.
In particular, we have contributed to the development of popular games such as Diablo 2: Resurrected, Metro Exodus, Sniper: Ghost Warrior Contracts 2, Smite, Paladins, Gwent: The Witcher Card Game, and Marvel Snap. Therefore our team creates high-end gaming content and games for various Mobile, PC, Console, and VR projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize web-based game controllers using HTML5, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Collaborate with designers, game developers to ensure seamless functionality and integration with the gaming platform.
- Build responsive, interactive, and high-performance web interfaces.
- Debug and resolve issues related to functionality, performance, and compatibility across devices and browsers.
- Maintain and update technical documentation for the developed features.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with responsive and interactive web development.
- Familiarity with game mechanics, animations, or interactive design in web projects.
- Experience in one or more of the following domains: web gaming, playable ads development, or interactive media.
- Familiarity with WebSocket or other real-time communication protocols.
- Understanding of version control systems, preferably Git.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Intermediate English level.
Will be a plus:
- Knowledge of web performance optimization techniques.
- Experience with frameworks/libraries like PixiJS, Phaser, or similar.
- Understanding of cross-browser compatibility and debugging.
- Passion for gaming or interactive experiences.
