Pentair is seeking a Human Resources Manager to join their new Charlotte, NC team. This role is crucial for driving strong business performance through progressive talent and culture practices. The HR Manager will act as an HR partner to leaders and teams within the Pool Segment, providing comprehensive HR business partnering in areas such as leadership coaching, organization design, change management, engagement, talent management, development planning, talent acquisition, compensation, and employee relations. The position primarily supports the Pool Customer Service Organization and reports to the Pool CHRO, serving as the HR leader for the Pentair Charlotte office.

We have an opportunity for a Human Resources Manager to join our new Charlotte, NC team. You will play a critical role in driving strong business performance through progressive talent and culture practices as the HR partner to various leaders and their teams within the Pool Segment. The role provides comprehensive HR business partnering in a variety of areas including leadership coaching, organization design, change management, engagement, talent management, development planning, talent acquisition, compensation, and employee relations. As part of the Pool Business Unit HR team, this role will primarily support Pool Customer Service Organization. The role reports to the Pool CHRO and is an individual contributor based in our new Charlotte, North Carolina office. This role will also be the HR leader for the Pentair Charlotte office.

You will:

  • Partner with leaders to define the necessary HR plans required to successfully execute the business strategies and deliver results for the business.
  • Assess organizational performance systemically, define talent gaps and propose HR solutions that support business objectives.
  • Collaborate with leaders on talent management and development initiatives to attract, develop and retain high-performing talent.
  • Proactively coach leaders on performance management, employee development, talent planning and engagement.
  • Support and guide organizational design activities to streamline and implement new organization structures, roles and/or processes that enhance speed and efficiency throughout the organization.
  • Manage annual processes for client groups including goal setting, performance management and compensation planning.
  • Assist in recruitment activities to attract talent. 
  • Partner with leaders to resolve employee relations issues.

Key Qualifications: 

  • A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or related discipline
  • At least 10 years of progressive professional HR experience
  • Able to think strategically and translate strategies into actionable plans.
  • Be an excellent communicator at various levels within an organization.
  • Be willing to challenge the status quo and able to influence senior leaders.
  • Ability to build relationships quickly, to act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees.
  • Strong business acumen and an analytical mindset
  • Be results-oriented with proven ability to follow through while handling multiple and competing priorities.
  • Experience in company culture development and management
  • Solid project leadership and execution skills

Compensation:

For this full-time position working at this location, the anticipated annualized base pay range will be from $95500 - $177300 / year. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be commensurate with a demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, work location, and other relevant business or organizational needs. This position may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as, annual incentive bonus.
