As a Human Resources Manager, you will lead the People Consultants Team in France, reporting to the Head of HR France. You'll ensure Googlers receive necessary local HR advice, working with leaders, people partners, and other teams. Responsibilities include motivating the People Consultant team, providing HR support and consultation on complex challenges, resolving issues, implementing cross-functional solutions, acting as a subject matter expert, and offering thought leadership on people-related strategies. You'll handle performance management, compensation, employee relations, and internal mobility.
Must have:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 12+ years experience with French employment laws
- 5+ years managing an HR team
- Fluent in English and French
- Data analysis and problem-solving skills
Good to have:
- Experience in HR programs management
- High-volume case management experience
- Customer Satisfaction Optimization experience

Job Details
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 12 years of experience working with employment laws, regulations and labour relations in France, including experience with local employee representative bodies.
- 5 years of experience directly managing an HR team.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in HR, people programs management, high volume of cases management and Customer Satisfaction Optimization, or other large scale people related roles.
- Ability to analyze data, understand trends and develop recommendations for action based on the analysis.
- Ability to communicate in English and French fluently, to partner with internal and external stakeholders.

You will be responsible for ensuring that our Googlers are receiving the local HR advice that they need. You will work directly with local leaders, people partners, market consultants and other People Operations teams to provide personalized guidance, support, and solutions on a breadth of People Operations related activities requiring expertise and depth across multiple organizations and specialties.Great just isn't good enough for our People Operations team (known elsewhere as "Human Resources"). Responsibilities
- Motivate and inspire the People Consultant team to deliver excellent support to all clients, in line with the People Experience goal.
- Provide HR support and consultation on complex challenges within France, answer employee and manager questions about HR programs, policies, and other HR-related items (performance management, compensation and rewards, employee relations, internal mobility, etc).
- Overcome challenges and get to the root cause of any issue, and design and quickly implement solutions that cut across multiple disciplines and stakeholders, even those beyond people and organizational boundaries.
- Act as a local pro-active subject matter expert for clients and internal stakeholders and Partners.
- Offer thought leadership regarding People Consultant team (EMEA and globally) organizational and people-related strategy and execution.
