Onward Search seeks a strategic Marketing Portfolio Planning Manager for a temporary role. Responsibilities include developing and implementing a comprehensive marketing portfolio strategy aligned with business goals; monitoring and optimizing marketing initiatives; prioritizing resources across channels; leading cross-functional teams to execute marketing projects; providing data-driven insights; and collaborating with the Account Management & Delivery Planning Leader. The ideal candidate will possess strong strategic thinking, analytical, and project management skills, exceptional communication, and a proven track record of managing complex marketing projects.

Job Details

You will play a key part in enhancing the effectiveness of marketing efforts across channels, while ensuring the alignment of marketing strategies with business goals. Key Responsibilities

  • Portfolio Management
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing portfolio strategy that aligns with business goals and objectives.
    • Monitor, assess, and optimize the performance of existing marketing initiatives to identify growth opportunities.
    • Prioritize resources effectively across channels and campaigns to maximize impact and results.
  • Project Management
    • Lead cross-functional teams to mobilize, execute, and evaluate marketing projects from start to finish.
    • Manage timelines, resources, and project scope to ensure the timely delivery of initiatives.
    • Provide data-driven insights to program leads and stakeholders to foster continuous improvement and enhance project outcomes.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration
    • Work closely with the Account Management & Delivery Planning Leader to ensure marketing efforts are aligned across the organization.
    • Support initiatives by ensuring integration and delivering measurable, results-driven outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field (preferred).
    • 5-7 years of experience in marketing portfolio management or a similar role.
    • Proven success in managing complex marketing projects with impactful results.
    • PMP Certification (preferred).
  • Skills and Competencies
    • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to extract actionable insights from data.
    • Excellent project management capabilities, including the ability to lead cross-functional teams and juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Exceptional communication and presentation skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.
