Job Description

The IFS Solution Architect will be responsible for managing and delivering effective IFS solutions that align with client business objectives. They will collaborate with workstream leads and client teams to address business challenges and support business priorities through solutions. They will also work with peers from other applications and technologies, ensure projects are properly scoped, provide estimates for deliverables, guide the team, and establish best practices. The role involves solving business problems by developing and integrating business requirements and solution approaches. They should have experience in IFS FSM and ERP technology. They will need to collaborate with stakeholders, business analysis and have strong communication skills.
Must have:
  • Experience in at least 2-3 full lifecycle IFS implementations.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of latest IFS advancements.
  • Expertise in configuration, coding, and DevOps.
  • Proficiency in FSM and/or back-office (ERP) integrations.
  • Strong skills in collaborating with various stakeholders.
  • Involvement in business analysis, requirements elicitation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Leadership abilities to motivate and direct within a distributed structure.
  • Skills in managing conflict and influencing others.
  • The capability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

We are looking for: 

IFS Solution Architect 

Your future role: 

  • Responsibility for managing and delivering effective IFS solutions that align with client business objectives, 
  • Collaboration with workstream leads and client teams to address business challenges and support business priorities through solutions, 
  • Work with peers from other applications and technologies on cross-functional activities, including solution architecture maintenance and process improvements, 
  • Ensure projects are properly scoped to meet business objectives with high quality, 
  • Provide estimates for deliverables, review team outputs for quality, and ensure compliance with standards and IT processes, 
  • Partner with business leaders and IT teams to solve business problems by developing and integrating business requirements and solution approaches into business cases when needed, 
  • Deliver subject matter expertise, guide the team, and establish best practices, 
  • Support Enterprise Application leadership and architecture in defining and maintaining future state capabilities, 
  • Manage the environment strategy and plan, aligning program activities with the environment plan. 

 

Apply if you have: 

  • Experience in at least 2 to 3 full life cycle implementations within the IFS space, primarily in IFS FSM and ERP technology, 
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the latest advancements and upcoming enhancements in IFS technology, 
  • Expertise in configuration, coding, and DevOps best practices, 
  • Proficiency in Field Service Management (FSM) and/or back-office (ERP) integrations, as well as integrations with transaction and master data systems like Pega and Wolseley, 
  • Strong skills in collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders, including sales operations, field service, finance, supply chain, and customer service, 
  • Involvement in business analysis discussions, requirements elicitation and management, business process mapping, data flow modeling, functional specifications, and test scenarios, 
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills for frequent interaction across all organizational levels, 
  • Strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills to quickly gather facts, perform root cause analysis, and draw conclusions collaboratively, 
  • Leadership abilities to motivate and direct within a distributed organizational structure, 
  • Skills in managing conflict, holding people accountable, and influencing others to achieve results, 
  • The capability to work effectively in a fast-paced, demanding, and fluid environment, 
  • Flexibility and willingness to undertake travel opportunities as part of the role.
