Job Description

The Imaging Specialist role is primarily responsible for preparing documents for scanning and performing the scanning tasks within the DMS Imaging Centers. This includes sorting and preparing hard copy records, scanning files to electronic images, following production procedures, and completing internal documentation. The specialist must maintain a clean work environment and adhere to imaging center guidelines. The role requires familiarity with PCs and other computer-related products, proficiency in English, the ability to work independently, an understanding of detail and accuracy, the ability to maintain production rates while producing quality work, and the ability to lift up to 40lbs.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Understand the importance of detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work at a sustained pace to meet production rates.

What We Offer:

  • Location: 21 Terry Ave, Burlington, MA

  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm

  • Pay Rate: $18.75/hr - paid biweekly

  • FULL BENEFITS – 1st Day of Employment

Responsibilities:

This role is primarily responsible for performing the document preparation and scanning tasks. These tasks are performed within all DMS Imaging Centers. This role is vital in initiating the imaging process and obtaining our conversion objectives.

  • Sorting and/or preparing hard copy records for scanning – document preparation

  • Scan hardcopy files to electronic images ensuring a quality image

  • Follow production procedures and completing internal documentation & tracking

  • Adhere to Imaging Center guidelines of maintaining clean work environment

  • Other duties, as specified by Supervisor/Manager

Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with PC and other computer-related products/administrative experience  

  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English 

  • Work independently with minimal supervision 

  • Understand the importance of detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to work at a sustained pace to meet production rates while producing quality work.

  • Must be able to lift up to 40lbs.

  • Identified candidate will need to complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check successfully prior to start
