Job Description

Tesla's Indirect Purchasing team seeks a motivated intern for their Systems, Analytics, and Operations team in Amsterdam. This 6-month, full-time internship involves supporting the Purchase2Pay process, vendor onboarding and contracting in systems across 30+ EMEA countries and the Giga Berlin factory. Responsibilities include optimizing purchase creation, KPI reporting, assisting buyers with projects, resolving purchasing inquiries, contract compliance analysis, and participation in ad-hoc projects. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong communication skills, and have experience with Excel and PowerPoint. Familiarity with Tableau/PowerBI is a plus. This role provides valuable experience in purchasing processes within a large international corporation.

Must have:

Supply Chain/Business Admin/Process Engineering background
Fluent English, German a plus
Adaptable to fast-paced environment
Detail-oriented and accurate
Strong communication skills
Team player, hands-on, results-oriented
Excel & PowerPoint proficiency

Good to have:

Tableau/PowerBI experience

Tesla Indirect Purchasing team is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Systems, Analytics and Operations team as an Intern. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in purchasing processes and contribute to the overall success of our organization. Our new team member will be a central point of contact for all purchasing related queries internally.

You will support in the overall Purchase2Pay-process: Support vendor-onboarding and contracting in our systems, optimize the purchase creation process and work on our KPI reporting. The Purchasing team offers the interns an opportunity to develop themselves in an international corporation with both operational and project work during the assignment. What You’ll Do

Support the eProcurement team for operational catalogue buying in 30+ countries in EMEA and the Giga Berlin factory
Be part of the supplier onboarding process and ensure the onboarding is completed in time
Participate in the contract compliance analysis
Assist the buyers with purchasing projects
Support in resolving business inquiries related to purchasing processes
Maintain KPI reports
Participate in ad-hoc projects.

What You’ll Bring

Preferably studying a relevant field like Supply Chain, Business Administration or Process Engineering
Fluency in English, German is a bonus
Capable of working in a fast paced and always changing environment.
Detailed oriented and focusing on accuracy.
Strong communication skills, you will be in contact with many (internal) stakeholders
Hands on mentality and result oriented.
A strong team player.
Experience with Excel and PowerPoint. Familiarity with tools like Tableau and/or PowerBi will be considered a plus
Being enrolled into education for the entire duration of the internship
