Job Description

As an Industrial Project Manager, you will propose, define, and implement manufacturing processes with minimal costs, within a minimum timeframe, and guaranteed quality. You will lead transfer projects, resolve engineering issues, coordinate project activities, review documentation, and contribute to project design. The role involves translating project requirements into action plans, allocating resources, and overseeing progress. You will also provide technical direction to project team members. The company is a global provider of equipment, systems, digital solutions, and value-added services for freight and transit rail as well as the mining, marine, and industrial markets.
Must have:
  • 5+ years of project management experience.
  • Experience leading industrial projects.
  • Knowledge of technical drawing.
  • Ability to define new assembly lines.
  • Ability to read technical drawings in English.
Good to have:
  • Knowledge of German.

How will you make a difference?

As a Industrial Project Manager you will be responsible to propose, define and implement manufacturing processes for the selected products with minimum costs, within a minimum timeframe and with a guaranteed quality

What will your typical day look like?

    • Lead transfer projects and/or contributes engineering expertise/workstream leadership to larger projects ensuring their successful completion.

    • Lead and/or participate in the resolution of engineering/methods issues such as conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of standard materials, and other related project issues/challenges.

    • Coordinate project activities with other operating or engineering units to facilitate the availability/participation of appropriate staff in local project to ensure their completion in-line with all relevant project deliverables.

    • Participate/contribute to projects elsewhere within the organization as necessary.

    • Review, maintain and update project-related documentation as necessary to ensure its accuracy and to meet project governance requirements.

    • Participate in professional organizations to maintain current knowledge of technical innovations.

    • Assist in determining project objectives to contribute to the development of comprehensive project design, ensure optimized cost-effectiveness, integration/alignment with standardized solutions in place elsewhere within Bunge, etc.

    • Translate project requirements into detailed actions plans, resource requirements/allocations, expenditure timing, etc., and assign work to others as necessary, monitoring/overseeing progress to ensure that objectives are being met.

    • Provides technical direction to project team members.

    What do we want to know about you?

    • Higher technical education with a mechanical or mechanical-energy faculty .

    • At least 5 years of experience related to project management.

    • Proven experience in leading industrial projects.

    • Very good knowledge of technical drawing.

    • Ability to define, develop and create new assembly stations / lines for multi-complicated products in low series production.

    • Ability to transform manual assembly process into semi automatic stations / lines.

    • Ability to read technical drawings in English, German will be an advantage

    • Knowledge of English at the good communicative level, German will be an advantage.

    • Available to geographic mobility / travels.
