Job Description

The Industry Manager, Gaming and Apps, will develop and implement sales strategies to boost Google's presence in Pakistan's gaming and mobile app sectors. This role involves analyzing data, creating strategic plans, conducting presentations, and managing client relationships to optimize advertising growth. Responsibilities include developing case studies, advocating new product releases, and collaborating with internal/external stakeholders. The position is initially based in Singapore but requires significant time in Pakistan.
Must have:
  • 8+ years in advertising sales/marketing/consulting/media
  • Fluent in English and Urdu
  • Develop and execute sales strategies
  • Analyze data and create strategic plans
  • Manage client relationships and optimize growth
Good to have:
  • Business development experience
  • Experience with Google/YouTube advertising
  • Knowledge of Pakistan's tech and advertising landscape
  • Mentoring experience
  • Commitment to Pakistan's tech industry growth

Job Details


Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in advertising sales, marketing, consulting or media.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Urdu fluently to communicate with and serve Urdu speaking customers.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in business development, client relationship management and servicing, and consultative selling.
  • Knowledge of and experience with using Google and YouTube advertising solutions.
  • Knowledge of Pakistan's technology and advertising landscape, with strong understanding of Pakistan’s Apps and Gaming industry.
  • Understanding of digital advertising solutions and media products.
  • Ability to mentor account managers and work towards goals in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrate a genuine commitment to contributing to the growth and development of Pakistan's Tech industry.

As an Industry Manager, you'll provide advertising solutions and manage relationships with Apps and Gaming clients in order to drive their business growth. Initially based in Singapore, this pivotal role will involve deep engagement and driving business growth exclusively in the Pakistan market, necessitating considerable time spent on the ground in Pakistan.

We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to grow Google's presence in Pakistan with higher focus on key sectors like Gaming and Mobile Apps industries..
  • Analyze data trends and client performance, develop strategic plans, and prepare and conduct strategic pitches and presentations with minimal guidance.
  • Collaborate and consult with clients with the goal of extending relationships, increasing client and agency base, and optimizing their advertising growth.
  • Develop case studies of successful campaigns in order to share insights with customers and to serve as an advocate at events and conferences.
  • Advocate new product releases, internally and externally. Build and manage relationships to deliver a plan working as an independent contributor with a large set of internal and external stakeholders.
