Job Description

The Influencer Marketing Specialist will manage and support innovative influencer marketing campaigns. This role involves nurturing client relationships and ensuring programs are creative and effective. Key responsibilities include developing channel recommendations, identifying new platform opportunities, representing the company in meetings, developing creative ways to engage influencers, identifying campaign issues, assisting with new business pitches, setting KPIs, building reports, and writing case studies. The specialist will act as the primary point of contact, oversee campaign execution, support influencer selection, coordinate content review, and manage any disputes. They will also negotiate with influencer agencies.

The purpose of this role is to manage, activate and support innovative influencer marketing campaigns. Manages and nurtures new client relationships, and ensures programmes are highly effective and creative with measurable outcomes. Plans and delivers social media campaigns with creators and influencers across paid, earned and shared media.

Job Description:

Key responsibilities:
Develops channel recommendations
With some help or guidance, can get to an influencer idea rooted in insights and/ or built within the creative presentation to sell into clients. Builds on data including target audience, category and POV on culture
Identifies new platform opportunities and proactively initiates relationships with new vendors
Represents as sole influencer representative in a room with internal teams for brainstorming and internal meetings and presents confidently
Develops creative ways to breakthrough digital clutter and engage bloggers and other online influencers
Identifies and forecasts campaign issues and alert manager
Assists on new business pitches
Sets KPIs, partners with internal stakeholders to cohesively build reports, and captures and packages campaign results with some oversight
Writes clear and compelling case studies and incorporates this thinking proactively versus retroactively in brand campaigns

Act as the primary point of contact between the client and the influencer agency, ensuring clear communication and alignment on campaign objectives.

Oversee the planning and execution of influencer campaigns, ensuring deliverables are met on time

Support the influencer agency in shortlisting influencers that align with the brand’s audience and positioning.

Coordinate the review and approval process for influencer-generated content, ensuring content aligns with the client brief and filtering feedback between client and influencer agency 

Crisis Management & Issue Resolution: Handle any disputes or challenges between the client, agency, and influencers professionally and efficiently.

Negotiates with influencer agencies.
