Not only have we experienced unprecedented growth since our market debut in 2020,  but we’ve also created a remarkable mission and value-driven environment that is loved by our growing team. With a recent valuation of $4 billion, we are in a phase of hyper growth and expansion, and we’re looking for individuals with passion, commitment, and energy to help us scale our global impact.

Joining Sword means committing to a set of core values, chief amongst them to “do it for the patients” every day, and to always “deliver more than expected” on behalf of our members and clients.

This is an opportunity for you to make a significant difference on a massive scale as you work alongside 1000+ (and growing!) talented colleagues, spanning three continents. Your charge? To help us build a pain-free world, powered by AI, enhanced by people — accessible to all.

The Sword Trainee Program is not about playing it safe, it’s where your career meets real-world impact. Over 12 months, you’ll be part of a global team using technology to solve human problems at scale, and you’ll do meaningful work from day one. You’ll build and question, and be pushed to think deeper and move faster. Here, you won’t just apply what you learned in school — you’ll stretch it, test it, and turn it into solutions. If you’re looking for purpose, ownership, and a steep learning curve, this is your launchpad. And if you're ready to turn your potential into something that matters, we’re ready for you.

This is a hands-on, learning-intensive role designed for individuals at the start of their InfoSec careers. As a trainee in our Security Operations squad, you’ll be immersed in the day-to-day of operational cybersecurity. You’ll gain hands-on experience building, reviewing, and improving key processes within incident response and threat intelligence. From designing response playbooks to participating in threat hunting activities, you’ll follow the full lifecycle of security incidents, helping the team increase resilience and agility in a complex, multi-cloud environment.

You’ll be part of the InfoSec team, under the Cyber Security umbrella, embedded within the Security Operations squad. This is a team focused on building and improving the company’s security controls, enhancing day-to-day processes, and driving maturity through operational excellence. Our work is grounded in market-recognized frameworks (such as ISO 27000, NIST CSF and OWASP) and driven by real-world challenges in cloud security, threat detection, and incident response.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting the design and refinement of runbooks and incident response playbooks;
  • Helping structure alert monitoring and triage processes;
  • Working hands-on with cutting-edge security tools (e.g., MDR, vulnerability scanners, compliance automation, forensic tooling);
  • Assisting in vulnerability and incident management routines;
  • Participating in forensic investigations and threat intelligence initiatives;
  • Engaging with a multi-cloud environment and contributing to the evolution of operational security practices.

What you need to have:

  • Willingness to learn and curiosity about cyber security;
  • Structured thinking, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving skills;
  • Familiarity with basic concepts in cloud computing, Linux, and networking;
  • Comfort with technical reading and ability to navigate documentation;
  • A collaborative mindset and strong communication skills.

What we would love to see:

  • Previous internship or academic experience in security, cloud, or infrastructure;
  • Understanding of security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27000, OWASP);
  • Exposure to scripting or automation (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell);
  • A personal project or CTF participation demonstrating real interest in the field.

To ensure you feel good solving a big Human problem, we offer:

  • A stimulating, fast-paced environment with lots of room for creativity;
  • A start of a bright future at a promising high-tech startup company;
  • Access to our health and well-being program (digital therapist sessions);
  • Learning opportunities with tailored mentoring.
