Position Overview
 
This is a full-time employment role
 
We are looking for an Instructional Designer to join our growing Learning and Development team with a focus on developing innovative learning solutions and thought leadership in a client-facing role. This person will play a key role in developing highly effective learning solutions. The goal is to facilitate learners in acquiring knowledge, skills, and competencies in an effective and appealing manner.
 
Responsibilities:
 
Under the direction of a Training Lead, the Instructional Designer is responsible for the following:
 
  • Develop training solutions (e.g., training presentations, quick reference guides, and using his or her review and applying appropriate instructional design theories and methods
  • Proficient use of training development tools, following development standards set for the project. Create training deliverable templates
  • Develop training materials as per the approved project training strategy and approach, Training plan and Training Curriculum.
  • Ensure overall quality of training deliverables, providing QA for all end user training courses
  • Apply time management and project management skills to deliver excellent training materials while adhering to project timelines and design standards
  • Promptly identify issues or risks to the Training Lead and recommend solutions
 
Required Skillsets:
  • Three to five years (3-5) of experience designing and delivering training materials preferably in a corporate ERP or consulting environment
  • Should have good writing skills and attention to details.

    Demonstrated ability to:
    • Manage multiple tasks and balance priorities
    • Accomplish work under tight timelines and manage stress levels
    • Communicate effectively with clients and team members (written and verbal)
    • Work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
    • Ability to acquire technical skills quickly and efficiently
    • Build strong relationships
    • Strong attention to detail and quality of work output
 
Education
  • Relevant bachelor's degree or work experience, preferably in a corporate or consulting role.
