Job Description

As an Intern Development Tester, you'll collaborate with a team working on gameplay features for Assassin's Creed Valhalla and an upcoming AAA title. Responsibilities include testing features using various methodologies, providing feedback, verifying stability, reporting bugs via Jira, and communicating with the development team and leads. You'll ensure features meet quality requirements, contributing directly to the creation of exciting and innovative next-gen games. The internship involves analyzing gameplay, identifying bugs, and improving the overall quality of the game.

Job Description

As an Intern Development Tester at Ubisoft Barcelona, you will join and work alongside the team responsible for several gameplay features on Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, and continue their mission to develop exciting, challenging, and forward-thinking features and next-gen visuals for an upcoming AAA title.

What you´ll do

· Ensure the developed features meet the quality requirements by testing them using different methodologies.

· Analyse and provide continuous feedback on the developed features.

· Verify stability of new versions.

· Report bugs to Jira and maintain them up-to-date.

· Direct communication with Development Team, Production and Leads.

Qualifications

Recent graduate with eligibility for an Internship contract.

What you´ll bring

· Any previous experience related to game testing is a plus.

· Analytical skills, proactive, results-oriented personality.

· Teamworking, proactivity and good organizational skills.

· Curiosity and an eye for detail.

· Good knowledge of English both spoken and written.

· Time management and ability to manage priorities.

· Experience on using state of the art engines and tools like Unity or Unreal is a plus.

· Familiarity with database and file managing software (JIRA, Perforce) is a plus.

· Passion for video games and knowledge of video game industry terms.
