Job Description

As a Field Merchandising Operations Intern at Nintendo of America, you'll support the Brand Ambassador Operations team in various tasks, including preparing training materials, developing reporting opportunities using data from the field management platform, managing communication with field teams, and assisting with project management, ship list creation, and general requests. You'll gain valuable hands-on experience and contribute to meaningful projects at a leading entertainment company.
Must have:
  • 3.0+ GPA
  • Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program
  • Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Data Analytics, or related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Able to work 40 hours a week onsite
Good to have:
  • Retail experience
  • Tableau or Power BI experience

INTERN – Field Merchandising Operations

Application Deadline: December 1, 2024

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

  • Work closely with the Nintendo Brand Ambassador Operations team to help support field reps and their field management software

  • Prepare support and training materials to help the Nintendo Brand Ambassadors and management team

  • Work with internal stakeholders to identify and develop new reporting opportunities using multiple data sets from our field management platform

  • Manage and develop streamline communications to field teams for both project and non-project related topics

  • Support the operations team with individual project management, ship list creation, and general request from the field team

SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3.0+ GPA

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program with a graduation conferral date between May 2025 and June 2026

  • Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Data Analytics, or related field

  • Ability to work with a variety of individuals across the organization

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Comfortable working in a fast paced, ambiguous environment

  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Retail experience preferred

  • Tableau or Power BI experience preferred

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

  • Able to work 40 hours a week onsite throughout the course of the 10-week summer internship between June – September

This position is onsite in Redmond, WA, and not open to remote status at this time. Housing and travel support will be provided for non-local hires.

This internship includes a base pay range of $25 per hour, paid sick and safe time, and perks such as a local transit pass and access to the onsite fitness center. Given the limited duration of the role, interns are not eligible for full-time employee benefits such as healthcare or 401(k).
