Job Description

Betsson Group is offering a full-time internship in the Legal and Compliance Department. Interns will handle administrative tasks, assist the Legal, Compliance, and Data Privacy teams. They will also aid in managing data subjects' rights requests, contract coordination, filing, and archiving, and support tasks related to license applications. Interns will be expected to devise their own procedures and approaches. The role provides exposure to various facets of the gambling business.

Must have:

Studying for a law degree (completed at least first year)
Strong interest in legal and compliance operations in online gaming
Excellent attention to detail for understanding documentation
Comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Motivated, committed, and eager to learn
Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing, with good legal writing skills
Ability to communicate effectively in international business matters

Betsson Group is excited to offer a full-time internship opportunity with the largest iGaming company in Malta and is actively seeking hardworking and bright Legal Interns to join the Legal and Compliance Department.

A Taste of What You Will Be Doing: Your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Handling various administrative tasks
Assisting the Legal, Compliance, and Data Privacy teams in their daily work
Aiding the Data Privacy team in managing data subjects' rights requests
Assisting with contract coordination, filing, and archiving documents for the Legal team
Supporting the Compliance team in tasks related to license applications and maintenance
Communication with various teams and stakeholders across the business

You will be given independence and are expected to devise your own procedures and approaches.

What You Can Bring:

Studying for a degree in law (completed at least the first year) at the Faculty of Law
Strong interest in understanding how a legal and compliance department operates, particularly within the online gaming industry
Excellent attention to detail for understanding documentation quickly
Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
Motivated, committed, and eager to learn
Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing, with good legal writing skills
Ability to communicate effectively in international business matters
